Kiwi Jam
Here is the recipe to make a delicious homemade kiwi jam.
Ingredients:
1 kg of kiwis (about 8-10 ripe kiwis)
800 g of sugar (you can adjust according to your taste)
1 lemon (for its juice)
1 vanilla pod (optional, for a slightly fragrant taste)
Preparation:
Prepare the kiwis:
Peel the kiwis and cut them into small pieces. You can crush them lightly with a fork or potato masher if you prefer a smoother jam.
Mix the ingredients:
In a saucepan, mix the kiwi pieces with the sugar. Add the lemon juice to add a touch of acidity that will help preserve the jam and balance the flavors.
If you want to add vanilla, split the pod in half, scrape out the seeds, and add them to the kiwi mixture.
